Miya's top four:

Trory
UC
Balcony Buds
General

Roxy, I won't kill you, I promise. :)

And Laine, I'll definitely send you some fic formatting info...eventually. :P

As for my committees, hmm... I think I'm only out for Trory and Improv, so...

1. Java Junkie
2. Balcony Buds
3. General
4. UC

I agree. You all are great with organization. :D

My top fourI agree. You all are great with organization. :D

My top four:
UC
General
Improv
Balcony Buddies

Trory would be my first, if I weren’t nominated. Heh.

Sounds great Roxy, great organization :)! My top four awards comittee list;

1. UC
2. Trory
3. Rory Curtain (If we do have it)
4. Java Junkies

Grace, if you still need help formatting and stuff (and if it's as easy as you say) I'd be happy to help. As of tomorrow I'm finished with high school.

And I'm down with the whole fanfic awards system. I'm useless too, apparently.

I'm down wit it. but let me make sure I'm down wit the right thing...

we form committees...

committees do top 5 in each category (Unless a category has less than 5 votes in which case it is moved to General)

they vote in a ratings system (1-10)

then comes my fun part that we have to test right Roxy?

Chris makes everything so simple, and I agree with the way it should go. I vote for the comittees and such :).

P.S. My new LJ is at http://www.livejournal.com/users/mrschimpf/ , thanks to Chris :).

Okay. Sounds good.

It all sounds good to me. *thumbs up*

I'm mostly useless, aren't I?

Chris makes everything sound so simple. Yay! Chris.

I'd like to collect Roxy's life now.

Okay, yes, that was the process, Rox. The comittee narrows it down to the top five. Everyone else votes. This means, of course, the form would have to include the voters name and email address, to try and prevent multiple voting. Because that would not be fair. I'm only recalling this from my post as an honorary member of the committee at the Creeker Choice Awards.

I like the rating system. The top five rated will go on as the ones you may vote for. Then the voters will vote for the fic by name. Actually there will be like a choice, and they click on the box next to the fic they want.

Er, maybe I can get an old template from Dannie from the CCA.

This probably won’t help much, but I want to make Roxy happy.

Hmm. I like the idea of having committees narrow down the nominees to the minimum number of about 5.

I’m not sure which would work better: rating on a scale or voting by name. Personally, I’m not good with choosing one out of so many wonderful fics, so I’d go by rating. I think that would be easier because many people will have different opinions on the best fics, and if we vote by name then we might get several ties. So if we scale them, each story will get a rate (1-10 maybe?), and that way it will be less of a chance of getting a tie.

Still not sure, though.

So, c’mon people! Post!
